Food: Nauseating mediocrity disguises as food

Stepping from the predictable menu to the tasteless food, Nelson's culinary experience is rather lackluster. Dishes like the Blackened Salmon Chopped Salad or Bavarian Pretzel, while seeming promising, are delivered in inconsistent portions and often not up to par in freshness. As for the Ahi Tuna Sandwich, ‘mediocre’ seems more suitable than ‘satisfying’. And, let's not forget the inadequate variety, that leaves patrons with few, 'hit or miss' options to choose from.

  • Okay Taste

Mixed reviews on taste, with some finding dishes satisfactory but not exceptional.

  • Small Portions

Inconsistent portion sizes, some found too small or meager.

Vibe: Illuminating ambience drowned in hype

Nelson's saving grace comes in the form of its ambiance; from the stunning ocean views that captivate the eye, to the intimate settings optimal for date nights. Accentuated by live music, the restaurant presents a perfect blend of entertainment and beauty. Yet, all this elegance is tainted with the truth of overpriced drinks and an undeserved buzz, given the subpar food quality.

  • Great Views

Incredible panoramic ocean views, stunning during sunset, create memorable experience.

  • Bad Drinks

Drinks overpriced, limited selection, and some cocktails poorly executed.

Perks: Additional nuisances in dinner standard

Inviting for pets but apparently not children or vegans, Nelson’s offers a puzzling dining experience, further complicated by the long waits due to confusion in reservations and inability to accommodate large groups. The inviting outdoor seating does provide slight solace, but that's quickly drowned out by the loud live music that makes any conversation impossible, along with a poor service standard that fails to impress.

  • Great For Pets

Welcomes pets warmly with great pet accommodations and scenic views.

  • Okay To Park

Valet parking available, though free parking requires a longer walk.

  • Hard To Reserve

Confusion and frustration over reservation policies, leading to long waits.
