Food: Inconsistent palate pleasers
Beach Bowls Acai Cafe dishes out some tropical delights - the fresh, generous Tropical Acai Bowl and the vibrant Pitaya Bowl. But not everything is quite so rosy. Some found the taste rather average or even stale, disappointing for a place that prides itself on their supposedly gourmet bowls. And then there's the price. More than a few eyebrows were raised at their value for money - or rather the lack of it.
Large Portions
Generous, large portions, seen as filling and perfect for meals.
Okay Taste
Bowls usually consistent and tasty, though service and vibe could improve.
Bad Variety
Menu is basic, which doesn't cater to all customer preferences.
Top 2 dishes at Beach Bowls Acai Cafe
- 1
Tropical Acai Bowl 🏆
The acai bowls are fresh, delicious, and evoke a tropical sensation.
- 2
Pitaya Bowl
Colourful, tropical flavor; dragon fruit utilized well.
Vibe: Noisy ambiance dampens mood
Ambiance? More like an amb(ushed)iance. Stained seats, high noise levels, and a staff that seems to have misplaced their enthusiasm. It's hardly an environment that encourages patrons to stay longer than they need to. Date night? Better practice your sign language because maintaining a conversation here is like trying to whisper in a wind tunnel. The only redeeming quality is the vibrant, lively scene it presents.
Great Buzz
Young, hip, lively, and trendy describes the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere.
Bad Ambiance
Seats with stains, bad vibes, noisy level, and unenthusiastic staff.
Perks: Parking and service falter
Circling for parking? Unfortunately, it could be a norm here, with their limited space often being full. Once you are inside, don’t expect the service to make up for it. Broken communication condolences with a soundtrack of unbearably loud music, and inconsistent service tend to leave a sour taste, regardless of their nod to dietary preferences and group suitability.
Okay For Diets
Offers vegan options but there is an unspecified problem.
Bad Service
Inconsistency with service speed and staff friendliness frustrates customers.
