Food: Zero zest, less satisfaction
Brutally simplistic and uncreative, Boxwood's menu leaves a lot to be desired. From 'refreshing' Ice Cream & Fresh Fruit Sorbets to the 'refined' Scallops and the laughable Eggs Benedict with Crabmeat, there's a staleness producing an uneventful taste. Small portions and the value for money lacks respect for the customer.
Bad Taste
Food described as bland, uneventful, overcooked, lacking flavor, and disappointing.
Top 3 dishes at Boxwood At The London
- 1
Ice Cream & Fresh Fruit Sorbets 🏆
Described as delightfully refreshing, interesting mix, and out of this world.
- 2
Scallops
Scallops were exceptionally well made, refined, and delicious.
- 3
Eggs Benedict with Crabmeat
Awesome flavors, deliciously combined with crabmeat; very enjoyable egg quality.
Vibe: Classy ambiance, pretty sights
There is no denying the elegance of Boxwood, its ambiance presenting stylish decor that prompts a comfortable, unique dining experience. The views from the rooftop are a feast for the eyes but sadly, not paired with an inspiring wine list or peaceful date setting.
Great Ambiance
Ambiance consistently praised for elegance, comfort, and unique stylish decor.
Bad For Dates
Chairs and booths are old and worn down, diminishing the overall experience.
Perks: Limited parking, lousy service
You'd think a restaurant would know its parking scene, but it seems Boxwood drops the ball. Expect a valet that's as slow as their service, and a noisy outdoor seating area. Their diet flexibility isn't up to standard either, with limited vegetarian options.
Okay For Groups
Generally group-friendly, though occasional issues with large party seating.
Bad For Diets
Limited vegetarian options, not as promised, and with mix-ups like lox.
