Food: Tastes like cardboard nostalgia

New India's Oven's Tikka Masala Dishes, Garlic Naan Bread and Murg Makhani may seemingly delight but don't be fooled. The lack in food creativity is baffling and distressing, with dishes called unimaginative, generic and uninspired. Taste and freshness join the unimpressive brigade with reports of stale, bland, overcooked meals leaving dining experiences flavorless. Despite ample portions, the sheer sameness seeping through every dish hamstrings the overall gastronomic experience.

Vibe: Abysmal ambiance assault

The atmosphere at New India's Oven is puzzling, to say the least. The decor screams of a depressing pink, creating an oddly claustrophobic, third-rate dining-hall vibe. The loud Hindi music build up an air of discord, proving disruptive for diners. This isn’t your ideal destination for a quiet, romantic date night, especially with loud children and boisterous parties around.

  • Bad Ambiance

Oddly depressing pink decor and third-rate dining-hall ambience felt claustrophobic.

Perks: Deeply dismaying dining turnaround

Adding to the restaurant’s list of letdown is its service. Criticised for being rude and slow, the lacklustre staff and long waits further mar the dining experience. The noise level inside the restaurant is another concern as open seating areas often entertain boisterous parties and can be disruptive. The lack of good dietary options is another downside, with the vegan buffet options particularly lacking.

  • Easy To Park

Ample, convenient, and free parking frequently highlighted as positive.

  • Okay For Groups

Mixed experiences noted, with both spacious and crowded, slow service noted.

  • Bad For Diets

Vegan buffet options lacking and service not perceived as friendly.
