Food: Staples suffice, classics disappoint
From Chicken Liver Pate to Foie de Poulet Petit, the menu at Pasjoli is an imaginative reinvention of French classics. Especially noteworthy are the pates - creamy, buttery and texturally perfect. They might try your patience on taste, but satisfy nonetheless. The counterparts, however, seem to be losing their luster due to inconsistently fresh ingredients and smaller serving sizes that keep your stomach in suspense.
Great Creativity
Creative twists on French classics amazed the diners immensely.
Okay Taste
Dishes were fine or average; not special but satisfactory.
Low Variety
Some dishes were a miss, not living up to the menu description.
Top 3 dishes at Pasjoli
- 1
Chicken Liver Pate 🏆
Creamy, buttery, and savory; perfectly paired with sweet jams and brioche.
- 2
Foie de Poulet Petit
Creamy, buttery, with delectable jam; a beautifully made savory and sweet delight.
- 3
Soufflé au Chocolate
Hits all the right notes with a rich, flawless, amazing fluffy texture.
Vibe: Alluring charm amid urban hustles
Pasjoli is brilliant in its interpretation of an intimate, romantic setting making it an ideal spot for date nights. The warm and inviting ambiance, despite the distracting street-side locations, curates a balanced upscale-yet-casual experience. But, brace yourself for a date with patience at the bar, as their high-priced drinks take their own sweet time to say cheers.
Great Aesthetic
Warm, inviting, elegant ambiance beautifully enhances the dining experience.
Okay Buzz
Upscale but still casual vibe; balancing expectation with reality.
Bad Drinks
Drinks overpriced, long wait times, limited selection, and sometimes poor service.
Perks: Parking plight amidst hospitable service
Nothing is perfect, not even the grandest French dining experience. Pasjoli encounters a severe parking pandemic, with limited spaces and no valet. The noise level can reach irksome heights, treading on the boundaries of 'an upscale dining experience'. However, they do seem to make last-minute reservations possible with relative ease, a delight for the impromptu planner.
Easy To Reserve
Reservations are easy to make, even for last-minute planning.
Okay for Groups
Large private dining perfect for birthdays, but better indoors than patio.
Bad Parking
Terrible parking situation with limited spaces and no valet service.
