Food: Indigestible and uninspiring eats

Al Palace's food is an embarrassment to even the most basic culinary standards. Its apparently best dishes, Wor Won Ton Soup and Cream Cheese Wontons, appear to be in direct contrast with the frequent lament of flavorless, greasy, and seemingly chemically-laced fare the restaurant produces. The value seems to be more on size than quality - even for the Eggrolls.

  • Great Value

Extremely affordable with huge, quality portions; customers appreciate the value.

  • Okay Variety

Menu has great dishes and some not so great, hit or miss.

  • Low Quality

Frequent mention of bland, greasy, processed food indicates low ingredient quality.

Vibe: Nostalgia gone horribly wrong

The damn lanterns. These outdated decorations set a dowdy, dusty, and entirely anti-modern tone for the vibe. If you're thinking of a date here, think again. Overcrowding seems to be an issue - bystander romance is not exactly a thing, and whispering sweet nothings over the sound of a wailing toddler is no one's idea of a pleasant evening.

  • Bad Ambiance

Old school ambiance with outdated Chinese lantern, creating oldtime feel.

Perks: Troubling terrains for tots and troops

And speaking of toddlers, leave them at home - they'd find more sustenance chewing a rubber tire than they would from Al Palace's menu. Expect an Olympic level challenge if you're arriving by car; their parking alternative is likely five cities over. The outdoor seating is a sardine simulation, and group reservations are an exercise in futility.

  • Okay Service

Service varies with time; can be fast or slow, usually efficient.

  • Bad For Kids

    Not kid friendly.
