Food: Flavors delude, variety reduced
Louise's Trattoria offers up a skewed version of Italian cuisine, presenting an unimaginative menu that fails to inspire. The Chicken Parmigiana, succulent as it may be, and the Garlic Butter Focaccia do little to deflect the criticism leveled at the poorly executed traditional recipes. The new chef also seems intent on restricting our choices, drastically reducing the variety offered. His talent appears to be more inclined towards portion control, generous and impressively filling. But, the meals seem heedless of taste and freshness, often rendering them cold, rancid, or severely overcooked.

Okay Value

Vibe: Romantic refuge, drinks languish
This place is an escape to a warm and cozy sanctuary, evoking a particularly romantic atmosphere conducive to enhancing your dining experience. However, this little Eden is often transformed into a raucous, crammed circus during peak hours that severely hampers the potential for a quiet, romantic date night. Also, don’t get your hopes up for a sophisticated wine night; the drink selection is limited and rather disappointing.
Great Ambiance
Romantic, warm, and cozy ambiance consistently praised for enhancing dining experience.
Bad For Dates
Noisy, cramped, rushed service detracted from date night experiences.
Perks: Seating so-so, dog delight
Don't expect an easy parking experience at Louise's Trattoria; it's rather hellish. You'd also have to bear with being unable to engage in pleasant conversations due to the noise, and making reservations seems to be an uphill battle. While the outdoor seating does offer a pleasant change, it often tends to get out of hand with the heat and space. The staff, however, generally provide reliable service and are keen on catering to all kinds of diets. What’s more, this place is paradise for your furry companions, going out of their way to provide our four-legged friends with their own space.
Great For Kids
Staff accommodates children with menus and crayons, enhancing family dining.
Okay Service
Service varies; sometimes excellent and quick, other times slow.
Hard To Hear
Very noisy at peak hours, difficult to have conversations.
