Food: Menu meets Michelin standard
Kenbey Sushi shows potential in its creative charm akin to Michelin-grade establishments. The Bluefin Tuna Nigiri gives a tease of what could be with its superior quality and the Shitake, Shishito, Lotus Root appetizer, though unremarkable, carries the flag of freshness. But, alas, the taste greatly disappoints, leaving patrons unhappy and underwhelmed as the value doesn't seem to match the disappointing experience.
Great Quality
Fish consistently described as flawlessly fresh across multiple reviews.
Almost Creative
Competes with michelin establishments, implying high culinary standards.
Bad Taste
Terms like terrible, lackluster, underwhelming, and disappointing indicate dissatisfaction.
Top 2 dishes at Kenbey Sushi
- 1
Bluefin Tuna Nigiri 🏆
Great quality med fatty tuna, a must-order according to reviews.
- 2
Shitake, Shishito, Lotus Root Appetizer
Marinated shitake was highlighted as the best part of the appetizer.
Vibe: Stuffy and discomforting
The dining experience at Kenbey Sushi takes a turn for the worse with odorous, uncomfortable ambiance accompanying equally poor service. The pacing of the food was off, making it a poor choice for date nights. The ambiance gives a feeling of discomfort that simply makes the overall experience so unpleasant
Bad For Dates
Bad pacing of food, atmosphere downer, not great for date vibes.
Perks: Parking woes and poor service
The crammy setting of Kenbey Sushi already dampens the experience and to make matters worse, parking becomes a challenge during peak hours. Though the reservation process doesn't seem to be an issue for many, the service is ridden with staff gossips and tardiness
Okay To Reserve
Reservation process not detailed enough for more accurate insights.
Bad Service
Uncomfortable environment, staff gossiping, and slow service mentioned.
