Food: Great value dishes cover flaws

The Kai Yang BBQ Chicken, Beef Satay and the BBQ House Special chicken are the restaurant's signature hits. They all carry an amazing taste with generous portions which add to the charm. The affordability of the meals further enhances the culinary appeal. However, the freshness of the ingredients, especially the shrimp, could be much better.

  • Large Portions

Most reviews rave about the huge, generous portions provided.

  • Low Quality

Shrimp flavorless, chicken quality poor, potatoes texture weird.

Vibe: Haunted by a gloomy past

The ambiance says it all - dim, outdated and the exact opposite of what one might call romantic. It lacks the excitement and vibrancy you would expect from a Thai BBQ & Seafood restaurant. Even for a casual dinner, the vibe might disappoint you with its shabbiness and unruly dark aesthetics.

  • Bad For Dates

Dark, not a place for romantic dinner, ambiance not romantic.

Perks: Park at your own risk

The restaurant's perks segment doesn't seem to be doing any better either. The parking scenario gets cumbersome at times, and the lack of space means you can't entertain large groups. Worst of all, the service leaves a lot to be desired, with reports of rude and unprofessional behavior.

  • Easy To Hear

Quiet, conducive for conversation, praised as not too loud.

  • Bad For Groups

Cramped space, group not able to fit at the vacant table.
