Food: Underwhelming taste disaster
The best dishes at Lajamaya are more a testament to the low standards than the quality of the restaurant. Their top-ranked Pupusa de Frijol con Queso barely scrapes by with decent cheese. The Tamal de Elote and Yuca with Chicharron are dry, lacking in moisture and disappointingly undersized. If the dismal taste and poor value aren’t enough, dirty and smelly plates are a final jab at the dining experience.
