El Jacalito offers dishes that range from okay to fair, with their Shrimp Cocktail and Carnitas Gordita as some of their best. However, the average taste of their food can't salvage the disappointment from the lack of freshness in their Flan presentation. While they are credited for value, the lackluster creativity leaves a lot to be desired.
