Food: Uninspiring flavors in a bite
Array 36's top dishes - Chinese Pork Belly, Beijing Roast Duck, and Braised Pork with Quail Egg - do a terrible job of covering up the glaring issues with their food. The creativity falls severely short with the menu being a hit or miss affair, plaguing the diner with mediocrity and regret. The lack of freshness and blandness is as clear as day. Even the portions seem to have taken a hit with diners finding them smaller than expected. It all culminates in an underwhelming experience that doesn't justify the price.

Vibe: Chic ambiance in overlay
While the restaurant struggles with its food, the ambiance comes to its rescue. The elegance and chic charm lure the diner in, but common pitfalls await unsuspecting patrons. The vibe gets increasingly dreary with the lack of privacy, making intimate date nights nearly impossible. The disappointing wine selection further adds to the downwards spiral. The stylish decor can't fully mitigate these issues.
Great Ambiance
Ambience exudes elegance, chic charm, and creates a cozy, inviting dining experience.
Okay Buzz
Ambiance and decor are good, but overshadowed by service quality concerns.
Bad For Dates
Noisy, lacked privacy, overly crowded, detracting from intimate date experiences.
Perks: Frustrating hurdles aplenty
To further tarnish the already creaky image, Array 36 is plagued with inconvenient parking woes. Even with supposedly simple reservations, patrons found themselves waiting like eager beavers for their table. What maddens the diner further is the inattentive service, which can be painfully slow at times. While the group accommodations are appreciable, it barely remedies the overall experience.
Great For Groups
Private rooms for large groups praised as accommodating and comfortable.
Hard To Park
Challenging shared lot, parking can be difficult, negatively impacts experience.
