Food: Favorable flair in dishes
Ajos Y Cebollas' display of culinary prowess is most evident in their top-three dishes: the rustic Chilaquiles, the crowd-pleasing Cubano Sandwich, and the unique blend of flavors in their Chicken Mole Enchilada. Their creativity and taste soar high, making up for the lack of freshness in some dishes. Furthermore, the portions are indeed favorable but all of these wrapped together do not justify the declared value.
Great Portions
Huge, fresh portions with homemade taste and outstanding flavor.
Quality
Omelette and French toast too crispy, oil tasted old.
Top 2 dishes at Ajos Y Cebollas
- 1
Chilaquiles 🏆
Tastes like home, consistently praised for authentic delicious flavor.
- 2
Mexi Fries
Grilled jalapenos and onions over the fries create a delectable topping.
Vibe: Draws comfort, blurs chill
The overall ambiance of Ajos Y Cebollas attempts to be inviting with a cozy, homey feel but it seems like the cold A/C fan puts a damper on the comfort. Their beer selection fails in providing the expected cold refreshment. However, it has to be mentioned that they make an effort in keeping the young ones entertained while waiting for their meals.
Okay Aesthetic
Cozy setting with homey feel but cold due to A/C fan.
Drinks
Beers not cold enough, negatively impacting the drinking experience.
Perks: Parking woes blight experience
While Ajos Y Cebollas may be suitable for little ones to engage in while waiting for their meals, the overall service and convenience of the restaurant leave much to be desired. The parking situation is a nightmare, with limited, crowded parking that's too far off. Additional challenges with slow service, particularly for larger groups, sink hopes of an improved experience.
Okay for Kids
Draw with kids while waiting for food; suitable atmosphere but slow service.
Groups
Long wait times and poor service for large groups, leading to dissatisfaction.
