Food: Dishes fall flat on flavor
Ristorante Per L'ora's menu presents a few shining stars amidst a sea of mediocrity; the Orecchiette Birria and Earl Grey Panna Cotta are delightful blends of cultures and flavors, offering unexpected yet satisfying tastes. However, not all dishes achieve this level of intrigue. Many pieces, while innovative in theory, arrive underwhelming, flat, or worse—dry and stale. Diminishing portions further mar the dining experience, as does a discrepancy between dish price and quality.
Very Creative
Unique menu items with fusion enhance a memorable dining experience.
Okay Taste
Some dishes were tasty and satisfying, yet others lacked expected flavor.
Bad Value
Extortionate parking and overpriced mains detract from the dining experience.
Top 3 dishes at Ristorante Per L'ora
- 1
Earl Grey Panna Cotta 🏆
Dessert and tea in one, perfectly sweet, creamy with crunchy rice.
- 2
Hamachi Crudo
Fish is fresh, large, tender, and sauce makes it very refreshing.
- 3
Focaccia Bread
Perfect crusty layer and soft, comforting inside with parmesan.
Vibe: Stunning ambiance makes waves
Against its culinary shortcomings, Ristorante Per L'ora's ambiance picks up the slack. The interior design exudes a chic and cozy charm that, quite effortlessly, enhances the dining experience. Its intimate and romantic setting earns a thumbs-up for date nights, as do the beautifully concocted signature cocktails and extensive wine list. The buzz is undeniable—every corner is a potential addition to Instagram feeds.
Great Ambiance
Ambiance described as chic, cozy, stunning, enhancing dining experience.
Perks: Parking woes overshadow service
Parking introduces a sour note to the dining experience. The expensive valet parking, cash-only policy, and absence of adjacent alternatives turn many potential guests away. Unreasonably long waits despite reservations don't help its case. The restaurant oscillates between exceptionally efficient and annoyingly slow service. However, it is worth mentioning its aptitude in handling large groups unexpectedly well.
Great For Groups
Able to beautifully handle a large holiday party for 175 people.
Okay Service
Some found service exceptional, others experienced delays and slow service.
Hard To Reserve
Delay despite reservation causing frustration and disrupted dining plans.
